SN Week 6 college football rankings: Top 25 shuffled after statement games image

College football may not have experienced an earth-shattering upset over the weekend, but a close call and a few statement games have certainly shaken up AllSportsPeople' latest set of rankings.

That starts first and foremost with Clemson, which fell one spot in our rankings after nearly falling to 2-2 North Carolina on Saturday. That makes Alabama the new No. 1, despite a subpar defensive showing against Ole Miss (the offense is still really good). Meanwhile, Ohio State jumped to No. 3 over idle Georgia and LSU with an emphatic victory over Nebraska in the "College GameDay" spotlight.

AllSportsPeople' latest top 25 reflect those games and more, including dominant wins by Penn State and Auburn, a letdown game from Wisconsin and a close call by Notre Dame.
