College football may not have experienced an earth-shattering upset over the weekend, but a close call and a few statement games have certainly shaken up AllSportsPeople' latest set of rankings.

That makes Alabama the new No. 1, despite a subpar defensive showing against Ole Miss (the offense is still really good). Meanwhile, Ohio State jumped to No. 3 over idle Georgia and LSU with an emphatic victory over Nebraska in the "College GameDay" spotlight.
