Alabama managed to avoid an upset loss against Auburn in last week's Iron Bowl, clinching its spot in the SEC championship game for the fifth time in the last eight seasons. Led by Kalen DeBoer, the Crimson Tide posted a 10-2 overall record, falling only to Florida State and Oklahoma.
