At noon CT on Wednesday one of the nation's top prospects is set to come off the board.

Benjamin Russell (Alabama) five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan will announce his college commitment, choosing from one of the following six schools: Alabama, Auburn. Clemson, Colorado, Florida and Georgia:

So, who will it be?

Prediction: Cederian Morgan to Alabama

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound pass-catcher is rated the nation's No. 11 overall prospect and No. 2 wide receiver in the 2026 class, so he's one of the most coveted players in America.

And the battle has been fierce.

While Morgan took official visits to Colorado (May9), Georgia (May 30), Florida (June 6), Auburn (June 13) and Alabama (June 19), it was the in-state Crimson Tide who got the final visit.

During that trip Morgan and his family got a chance to meet legendary Alabama coach Nick Saban, who has remained a prominent part of the program.

Alabama's championship tradition is a big draw for the in-state pass-catcher.

“They’ve got a winning tradition,” Morgan told Pro Football Network. “The receivers that came through there have been great at the college level and in the league. And then Coach Shep [JaMarcus Shephard], as a receivers coach — he is one of the best to do it. The energy he brings makes me want to go hard every day.”

That relationship is another factor in Alabama's favor, but there's also been some hinting that Morgan could join the fold.

This week, Alabama five-star running back commit Ezavier Crowell posted that the program has more five-star commitments coming.

The implication, of course, is that Morgan will commit this week.

As junior, Morgan registered 70 receptions for 1,162 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

Here's what 247Sports had to say about him as a prospect, comparing him to a luxury sports car:

"Evaluation echoes that of a luxury sports car: big, smooth, and powerful. Plays with obvious horsepower, accompanied by some encouraging physical refinement and nuance in regards to fluidity and locomotion."

"Dominant in contested scenarios as a consistent high pointer who exploits significant physical advantages vs. smaller defenders. Owns an enormous catch radius that gives a QB a large target throughout the route tree. Immensely productive with huge receiving numbers and even some limited defensive reps."

"Excellent multi-sport profile that includes averaging a double-double in hoops, an Alabama 6A high jump silver medal (6-8), and a 21.74 200-meter rep. Size and track speed suggests that another top-end gear in pads exists, and therefore consistent downfield separation ability. Shows encouraging short-to-intermediate route snap and leveraging ability, especially considering size."

"Uniquely gifted pass-catching target with outstanding physical tools and athletic chops. Projects as a high-major impact player with traits that suggest long-term NFL Draft high-round potential."
