There really is no love in Oklahoma after all. Well, at least not going into the fourth quarter of a Sooners football game. The marquee event in Norman was notable with No. 18 Oklahoma upsetting No. 15 Michigan as the only Top 25 matchup for Week 2.

The conversation has since turned from the final result to the song choice entering the final frame. As Luke Combs' hit "Ain't No Love in Oklahoma" blasted out of the speakers at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, the fans didn't enjoy the moment like some had hoped. You would've thought from the tone around the stands that the Sooners were down by several scores against top-ranked Ohio State.

Many people chimed in about their music that caused a buzzkill, including college football analyst Josh Pate, who appreciated the originality of choice. However, not everyone was on board with his logic. Some called for a different kind of country music with one of Toby Keith's sing-along songs like "Red Solo Cup" or "I Love This Bar."

With Oklahoma now in the SEC, the music game needs to match what's happening on the field. Auburn has "Swag Surfin,'" Florida adopted "I Won't Back Down," and Mississippi State took on "Jump Around." It's time for the Sooners to inject crowd hype back into the contest. Especially with such a big game in the early going. This wasn't a typical non-conference game either. Michigan came into the season as a CFB Playoff contender with a great deal of national attention.

Let's hope the Sooners adjust their playlist before No. 24 Auburn comes rolling into town in two weeks. The SEC opener with the Tigers on Sept. 20 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
