Nebraska transfer QB Dylan Raiola rumors include Big Ten, ACC but there's no destination yet image

A ton of transfer quarterbacks have already announced their destinations out of the portal.

Not Dylan Raiola, though. The departing Nebraska QB is still available.

Rumors are plenty, of course, including those fake variety posts on social media that get fans fired up for something that isn't true.

The fake rumors just in the last 48 hours have included both Northwestern and Syracuse.

But where is Raiola going to really wind up?

CBS Sports suggested recently that he could go to Miami or Oregon.

Both those teams are still alive in the College Football Playoff, which could contribute to a delay in the conclusion of Raiola's transfer process.

The Hurricanes have had great success the last two years with transfers at the most important position in sports, first with Cam Ward and then with Carson Beck.

The Ducks also had a transfer this year, Dante Moore, and likely just want to confirm he's leaving for the NFL before totally committing to a new QB out of the portal.

Raiola, the former top recruit in his class, could certainly fit in both of those high-octane operations.

And that would certainly explain why it's taking along for this to reach the finish line.

But as long as Raiola is out there, there will be more rumors, both real and fake. Until we hear from Raiola himself, college football will wait to see where the uber-talented quarterback winds up.
