The Michigan Wolverines have their starting offensive line for Week One versus the New Mexico Lobos, according to Clayton Sayfie of On3:

Redshirt senior El-Hadi, who was named one of the three offensive captains this fall (joining Max Bredeson and Marlin Klein), will have to anchor this unit alongside another veteran, redshirt senior Crippen.

The outsides are young and inexperienced, and it is on this duo to navigate the group early and help them develop into a dominant unit.

Norton and Efobi had battled all offseason for the starting gig at right guard, and the indication that Efobi will also see time suggests this race is not yet over.

Norton, a junior transfer who spent two seasons with Cal Poly before heading to Ann Arbor, is not a guard by trade. He started all 11 of his games last year at left tackle and had seen time there and at right tackle as a freshman.

He brings a towering, 6-foot-4, 312-pound frame to the interior, tasked with protecting freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood and paving running lanes for the Justice Haynes/Jordan Marshall tandem.

Link, the starter at left tackle, struggled in his first campaign but turned it up down the stretch, and heads into 2025 with what should be plenty of momentum and confidence at his back.

Sprague, a redshirt freshman who has some impressive film from the end of 2024, is an absolute monster at 6-foot-8, 295 pounds, and should help ease Norton into the new position on the right side.

The loss of five-star true freshman tackle Andrew Babalola hurts, as he was sure to at least see time this season. However, this is still a deep and talented group, and having essentially another lineman like Bredeson on the field will enhance the offense.
