Michigan State could be looking at a lot of departures for the transfer portal.
The Spartans fired head coach Jonathan Smith over the weekend after two seasons, so players could quickly look for new college football homes.
One of those guys: Wide receiver Nick Marsh.
Marsh had 100 catches for 1,311 yards across two seasons at MSU.
On Monday, On3's Hayes Fawcett reported that Marsh will be entering the transfer portal.

Marsh was originally a four-star receiver out of River Rouge, Michigan.
After two college seasons of productivity, he's expected to be one of the top wideouts in the portal.
Marsh measures at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds and will have multiple years of eligibility remaining. A team with an established QB may seek out Marsh to be the missing piece to a potent passing attack.

Given that MSU struggled as a team in Marsh's tenure, he may also seek out a program that is more likely to win a bunch of football games.
Marsh won't be the last Spartans player to indicate plans for the transfer portal. But he's already one of the biggest possible losses they could have.
