After nearly six months of college football action, a new champion has been crowned.
Indiana came out on top in Monday’s College Football Playoff championship game, 27–21, bringing a title home to Bloomington and capping an outstanding season.
There will be plenty to celebrate in Bloomington, with the expectation that the Hoosiers will host a parade or championship celebration.

Details of a potential IU championship parade, or other events for fans to celebrate the Hoosiers' victory, have not yet been announced.
However, it can be expected that Indiana will put together some type of event. After Ohio State won the 2025 College Football Playoff, the Buckeyes hosted a CFP Celebration at their home stadium that was free to attend and had seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Per the Columbus Dispatch, that event had an estimated a crowd of over 30,000, with around 2,500 Ohio State students in a standing-room-only section on the field. Festivities included the Buckeyes' band's performance, a team entrance, speeches from players and coaches and more.

For the time being, details about a potential parade route for Indiana are unknown.
There is also a chance Indiana opts to hold a celebration at its home stadium for fans, similar to what Ohio State did in 2025. That approach would prevent extensive traffic issues and allow fans to pack the stadium to celebrate.
