The Indiana Hoosiers are celebrating the first national title in school history after defeating Miami 27-21 in the CFP National Championship on Monday night.
The victory capped a dream season for lifelong Indiana fans, who endured years of struggles as one of college football’s losingest programs before finally winning it all. It was one of the most remarkable turnarounds in modern sports, led by Hoosiers head coach Curt Cignetti.
When hired at Indiana in December 2023, Cignetti made a now-famous “Google me” remark as he arrived as the new head coach. Now, tech giant Google is joining in the celebration of Indiana’s win by referencing that quote.

At his first presser in Dec. 2023, Coach Cignetti was asked about how he plans to sell his vision for the program to prospective recruits before his tenure at Indiana really begins. He had a perfect, seven-word answer: "It's pretty simple. I win. Google me."
