Eli Stowers has been a bright spot for Vanderbilt this season, putting together one of the most productive years of any tight end in the country. At 6'4", 235 pounds with 4.55 speed, Stowers brings elite athleticism and playmaking ability to the Commodores’ offense. His 57 catches, 705 yards, and four touchdowns showcase both volume and explosiveness.

Stowers is a matchup nightmare because of how well he moves for his size. He accelerates quickly, runs crisp routes, and consistently creates separation from linebackers and safeties. Once the ball is in his hands, he becomes even more dangerous, as his after-the-catch ability is one of the best at the position nationally.

His basketball-style body control helps him adjust to off-target throws, box out defenders, and win contested situations. He’s also a polished route runner, which allows Vanderbilt to line him up all over the formation and exploit mismatches.

While his receiving ability draws the headlines, Stowers is also a reliable blocker who gives effort and holds up well in space. That balance makes him a complete, NFL-ready tight end prospect.

Stowers has all the tools scouts look for: size, speed, hands, and versatility. As he continues his standout season, his stock is only rising. Vanderbilt may not be in the national spotlight often, but Stowers has forced scouts and fans alike to pay attention.
