College football rankings: Updated NCAA Top 25 polls after BYU, Virginia losses in Week 11 image

The College Football Rankings will be released Tuesday evening, but the AP and Coaches polls saw some shakeups on Sunday.

Week 11 didn’t feature many major upsets, but several teams did fall. Most notably, No. 7 BYU lost 28-7 on the road to No. 8 Texas Tech. The afternoon also saw No. 9 Oregon survive a thriller at No. 20 Iowa, winning 18-16 in a game that featured limited offense. No. 1 Indiana needed last-second heroics to get past Penn State on the road, while Texas A&M cruised against No. 22 Missouri 38-17.

In the evening slate, No. 4 Alabama defeated LSU 20-9, and No. 10 Notre Dame beat Navy 49-10. The Midshipmen were without quarterback Blake Horvath, who was scratched just before game time due to an upper-body injury.

There was some chaos in the ACC, however. No. 14 Virginia, the highest-ranked ACC team, fell 16-9 to Wake Forest at home after UVA QB Chandler Morris exited the game following a big hit. Cal also pulled off an upset over No. 15 Louisville, winning 23-20 in overtime. Those results will certainly impact the rankings, in addition to the ACC title game picture.

Without further ado, here are the updated NCAA Top 25 polls for Week 12.
