College football's Rivalry Week pitted chalk against chaos, with the latter scoring a stunning upset with just two weeks remaining in the regular season.

No. 5 Michigan was the biggest winner on Saturday, upending No. 2 Ohio State 42-27 for the program's first win in "The Game" since 2011. It kept alive the Wolverines' hopes of making the College Football Playoff for the first time under Jim Harbaugh while ending the Buckeyes' bid for a fifth straight Big Ten championship and fifth playoff appearance. Not a bad day's work.

Elsewhere, the Bedlam series lived up to its name as No. 7 Oklahoma State beat No. 10 Oklahoma in a game that swung heavily in favor of both teams throughout the game. The Cowboys earned their first win in this rivalry since 2014, setting up a rematch against No. 8 Baylor in the Big 12 championship game. It will be the first time since TCU and Baylor split the Big 12 title in 2014 that the Sooners will not compete for the conference championship.

Those games had huge implications on the latest top 25 rankings, but arguably the wildest game of the day was the Iron Bowl, which featured No. 3 Alabama overcoming a 10-0 fourth-quarter deficit to beat Auburn 24-22 in four overtimes. The win kept Alabama alive in the playoff race for another week; the Crimson Tide's next game is against No. 1 Georgia, which made easy work of Georgia Tech in a 45-0 romp.

Other notable games from Rivalry Week included LSU's 27-24 upset of No. 15 Texas A&M Minnesota's win over No. 14 Wisconsin; and North Texas' 45-23 win over previously unbeaten, 22nd-ranked UTSA.

Sporting News takes a look at how those games affected the latest AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll rankings following Rivalry Week action:
