College football will be on late on Friday night on the east coast. North Carolina will travel across the country to play against California in an ACC matchup.
The Tar Heels are 2-3 overall and kicked off their ACC schedule with a 38-10 loss to Clemson two weeks ago. After a week off, they're returning for a road matchup against California.
The Golden Bears are also coming off an ACC loss on Oct. 4 and took a bye last week. Now refreshed, they'll look to get back above .500 in the ACC.
Cal is 4-2 overall and 1-1 in conference with a win against Boston College and loss to Duke.
