Eddie George has pulled off a big transfer portal win.
The Bowling Green head football coach has landed a new QB, one who was a top-300 recruit in high school and is coming from the Oregon Ducks.
ESPN's Pete Thamel reported the news Friday night: Austin Novosad is coming to Northwest Ohio to play for the Falcons in the MAC.

Novosad appeared in seven games over his three seasons at Oregon.
In total, he completed 12-for-15 passes for 99 yards.
Novosad is listed at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds.
He was ranked as a 4-star QB by ESPN during the recruiting process, No. 12 at his position in the Class of 2023.
He also had high school scholarship offers from the likes of Texas Tech, Colorado, Houston, Kansas, SMU and Vanderbilt.
BGSU used multiple quarterbacks in the 2025 season and never could really get a rhythm at that position.
Given Novosad's ability, it wouldn't be shocking to see him make a run at the starting job and potentially put together a strong fall.
