The two biggest names currently coaching college football teams had their first confrontation on Thursday.

North Carolina's Bill Belichick won this round over Colorado's Deion Sanders.

Belichick earned a transfer commitment from wide receiver Adrian Wilson, who was at Colorado.

Wilson, a 4-star WR, hadn't been with the Buffaloes long. He only committed in October and then enrolled for spring ball.

Evidently, Wilson wasn't a fan of something about his opportunity in Boulder.

Because of the early transfer, Wilson will have four years of eligibility still to go.

He may not spend it all at UNC. In high school, Wilson was previously committed to TCU, then Oregon, then Arizona State before joining Sanders at Colorado.

Wilson is from Pflugerville, Texas, making UNC the furthest-from-home school he's chosen throughout his already fast-paced college football journey.

If Belichick can unlock Wilson's potential, it'll be a huge win for the long-time Patriots coach over the former Cowboys star Sanders.
