Not only did Missouri lose 17-10 to Vanderbilt back in early October, but it also appeared to lose its starting quarterback for the remainder of the season in the process.
Early in the third quarter, Tigers star quarterback Beau Pribula went down and was carted off the field in an air cast. It was initially reported that Pribula had an ankle injury expected to sideline him for the rest of the regular season. That doesn’t seem to be the case, however, as Friday brought word that the Tigers’ star QB will return for his team’s game against Oklahoma on Nov. 22.

Beau Pribula injury update
Despite initially being ruled a season-ending injury, a new report on Friday, November 21 said that Pribula is set to return on Saturday as the Tigers take on No. 8 Oklahoma.

The injury occurred early in the second half against Vandy back on Oct. 25. Facing a fourth-and-goal at the one-yard line, Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz called what appeared to be a quarterback-designed run play call for Pribula. The quarterback was tackled on the play short of the goalline, and immediately carted off of the field. The trainers also put an air cast on the signal-caller's left leg.

Pribula had thrown for 68 yards on the day before he suffered the injury After the game, Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz told reporters that Pribula "could be out for awhile." An encouraging piece of news though, was that he didn't have any broken bones:
Eliah Drinkwitz tells reporters in Nashville that Beau Pribula has an ankle injury that "could be a while" before he returns. He did specify there's been no broken bones. Pribula appeared on the sideline in crutches and a boot after getting knocked out of the game.

After the game, it was reported that Pribula would miss the rest of the regular season, and possibly the postseason. Pribula’s recovery timeline was accelerated, however, as the Mizzou QB now appears ready to return well ahead of schedule.
