With one week left in the regular season, six teams remain mathematically alive for a spot in the ACC championship game.

Here's how the race shakes down with multiple tiebreakers.

Virginia controls the clearest path. The Cavaliers clinch with a win over Virginia Tech, and their September loss to NC State does not factor because it was a non-conference matchup. A loss, however, would open the door for chaos.

SMU can secure its place with a win at Cal and would hold the edge in a three-way tie involving Virginia and Pitt. That's thanks to a 2-0 mark against common opponents.

Pitt must beat Miami and get help from either Virginia or SMU losing.

Miami remains alive but needs to defeat Pitt and see at least one of Virginia or SMU fall.

Duke and Georgia Tech both need a miracle, plus multiple upsets to reenter the picture.

The ACC’s tiebreakers begin with head-to-head results and extend to common-opponent records and Team Rating Score metrics before resorting to a commissioner-administered draw.
