What was Sherrone Moore charged with?
Moore has been charged with home invasion in the third degree, stalking, as well as breaking and entering. According to ESPN, the home invasion one is a third-degree felony. The other two charges of stalking in a domestic relationship and breaking and entering are misdemeanor charges.

Third degree home invasion
Moore has been charged with a third-degree home invasion charge. Per the state of Michigan, home invasion in the third degree is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than five years or a fine of not more than $2,000.00, or both.
Per the case's prosecutor, Moore threatened to take his own life upon entering the victim's home.
Prosecutor in court says Sherrone Moore went to woman's house, "grabbed several butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and began to threaten his own life. 'I'm going to kill myself. I'm going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life.'"

Stalking
Stalking in the state of Michigan as a misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year imprisonment, a $1,000 fine or both, as well as five years of probation.
According to the complaint via ESPN, the identification of the victim is "confidential" and is "an individual with whom" Moore "has or has had a dating relationship."
Breaking and entering
Moore is charged with breaking and entering in the third degree, which is punishable by up to 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.

Is Sherrone Moore still in jail?
Moore spend Wedensday and Thursday evening in jail. But he is set to be released on a $25,000 bond on Friday afternoon, but his bond has several stipulations.
According to the court hearing, Moore will be required to stay in the state of Michigan, as well as wear an ankle bracelet. The judge ordered Moore to additionally receive mental health treatment, and have zero form of contact with the alleged victim. The victim will not be publicly named.
Moore's next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 22, 2026, due to the court's holiday schedule.
