The Michigan Wolverines just landed a legacy recruit.

And about as big of one as you could imagine.

Lloyd Carr's grandson is going to play in Ann Arbor.

Tommy Carr, a quarterback, flipped his recruiting commitment on Sunday.

He was previously committed to Miami (Ohio) to play in the MAC. He took a big upgrade to move up to Michigan.

In addition to being the legendary Lloyd Carr's grandson, Tommy Carr is also the brother of Notre Dame QB C.J. Carr.

Tommy Carr is in the Class of 2026 and measures up at 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds.

He's considered a three-star recruit by Rivals.

He did also have offers from Iowa State and Rutgers in addition to the Redhawks and Bowling Green.

Tommy plays at Saline High School in Michigan, and he won't be going far.

He'll try to make his own name for himself with the Wolverines.
