Bryce Underwood's decision has been made.

After transfer portal rumors surrounded the promising QB after Michigan's hiring of Kyle Whittingham, Underwood announced what he's doing already.

Despite that, one of the leading search trends on Google as Wednesday gets underway is fans trying to figure out what Underwood is doing about the portal.

No need to fear, Wolverines: Underwood is coming back.

He announced his decision on social media on Monday night:

Retaining Underwood is clearly a huge win for Whittingham.

He was the No. 1 overall recruit a year ago, and after committing to LSU, the local product flipped to Michigan.

As a true freshman, he completed 60.3% of his passes for 2,428 yards. He tossed 11 TDs and nine interceptions. Underwood also rushed for 392 yards and six touchdowns.

With Underwood back, the Wolverines can aim to have a big first season under Whittingham and the offensive coordinator he brought with him from Utah, Jason Beck.
