Raiders ownership, which is majority-owned by Mark Davis, was joined by his minority owner, Tom Brady, at Hard Rock Stadium for the College Football Playoff National Championship. Joining the two owners was GM John Spytek.

Tom Brady and Mark Davis join the Indiana sideline at the CFP title game.

Brady and Davis are most likely attending the game as the Raiders hold the No. 1 draft pick, which could very well be Fernando Mendoza, the Heisman winner and possible MVP of tonight's game. He entered the night viewed as the frontrunner for the No. 1 pick after leading Indiana to a 15–0 season and blowout CFP wins over Alabama and Oregon.

Some reports indicated that Brady’s and Davis' attendance also overlapped with the Raiders’ head-coaching search, with the organization meeting candidates in South Florida around the game.
