Report: Donald Trump set to attend College Football Playoff national championship image

Donald Trump is set to attend Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship game between Miami and Indiana at Hard Rock Stadium, according to a report by Axios Wednesday. Marco Rubio is also expected to be in attendance.

The appearance adds to a growing list of high-profile sporting events the President has attended in recent months, including an NFL game between the Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys and this year’s Army-Navy game, where he participated in the coin toss. He has also been visible at major golf events such as the U.S. Open and Ryder Cup.

Trump has personal ties to Miami, where his granddaughter, Kai Trump, signed with the Hurricanes’ women’s golf program as part of this year's recruiting class.
