U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was among the notable figures in attendance at the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, drawing attention from fans as he took to Miami's sideline ahead of their title game against Indiana.

Rubio, who is the Secretary of State and a longtime sports fan, was seen greeting spectators and posing for photos before kickoff. The Miami native has frequently attended major college football events in the state and has publicly supported Miami’s athletic programs.
