Miller Moss threw for 248 yards and accounted for all three touchdowns as Louisville knocked off No. 2 Miami 24-21 in the biggest road win in school history.

The Hurricanes (5-1) came into the game looking to stay firmly in the driver seat of the ACC race. Carson Beck threw four interceptions, including his final one with 32 seconds left and Miami in field goal range at the 30-yard line to try and force overtime. The bad throw was scooped up by T.J. Capers to seal the win for the Cardinals.

For Miami, the offense struggled to generate much of anything productive. Only 63 yards on 24 carries on the ground with Beck racking up 271 yards against a Cardinals (5-1) team with the ACC's top-ranked defense.

Miami took a 14-10 halftime lead but went down 24-12 with Moss’ 36-yard touchdown throw to Chris Bell with 13:27 remaining. Beck and the Canes tried to rally with a 12-yard score by Malachi Toney. But that's all she wrote in the final seven miuntes.

Louisville also snapped Miami's 10-game home winning streak. This was the Cardinals' second win over a top-two team in school history. The first happened in 2016 with Lamar Jackson and the Cardinals beating No. 2 Florida State 63-20.

Another signature win for the Cardinals, who will look to make waves in the second half of the season. Bell became the first receiver in 21 years with consecutive 100-yard receiving games with two or more touchdowns. He finished with nine receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns over the Canes defense.

Jeff Brohm picks up his fourth win over an AP Top 5 opponent during his tenure at Louisville. They were 0-18 against Top 10 teams in true road games before Friday night.
