Lane Kiffin's social media post reveals an odd LSU mistake involving Malik Nabers image

Lane Kiffin unintentionally revealed a very weird LSU football mistake involving Malik Nabers.

It's not a big one in terms of the consequences, but it's really bizarre.

On Wednesday, Kiffin posted a picture of his son enjoying the LSU football offices, where they have footballs featuring the names of prominent NFL draft picks.

Each football lists when that player was chosen, and featured in the foreground were footballs for Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers.

Except something was wrong. The Nabers football says he was the No. 5 overall pick in 2024. He wasn't. When the New York Giants chose him, it was the No. 6 pick.

Does this really matter? Not at all.

But it's such a silly thing to get wrong.

Good thing that's not the most important part of the commemorative football. The key is that Nabers was a part of Wide Receiver U.

Kiffin will try to turn his wideouts into players like Nabers, Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase.

And then they'll try to get picked in the top-five (or six).
