Dylan Edwards sure doesn't mind changing his mind.

The talented running back plans to transfer from Kansas State, according to On3. It won't be Edwards' first move.

In high school, Edwards was a four-star running back who originally committed to Notre Dame.

He decommitted after four months and ended up signing with Colorado, where he spent one season under head coach Deion Sanders.

From there, Edwards headed to Manhattan, Kansas to spend the last two seasons with the Wildcats.

Edwards had already made the decision to sit out the rest of this season with an ankle injury. That'll allow him to redshirt and maintain eligibility, because he has only played in four games this season.

At both of his stops so far, Edwards has proven to be a talented dual-threat running back. He has 28 career college games and has run for 1,072 yards (8 TDs) and received 449 yards (6 TDs).

This season, Edwards had run 34 times for 205 yards (6.0 yards per carry) and a pair of scores.

Edwards opting to enter the transfer portal now should give him the maximum runway to find the best fit and get there by the spring semester.

Kansas State hasn't had the season it wanted. The Wildcats began the season ranked but are now just 2-4.

Edwards should have multiple seasons of eligibility remaining once his redshirt for this season is concerned, which should make him particularly appealing for a program that believes it can keep the RB happy and on the field.
