The Indiana Hoosiers keep collecting wins both on the field and on the recruiting trail.
The nation's undefeated top-ranked team is preparing for a College Football Playoff semifinal showdown against the Oregon Ducks on Friday night in Atlanta at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
But even with a national championship berth on the line, the Hoosiers are already making noise with an eye toward the future. On Sunday, Curt Cignetti and his staff landed a major addition out of the transfer portal.
Michigan State wide receiver Nick Marsh announced he would be Bloomington bound, according to ESPN's Max Olson. The move further reinforces the program’s rapid rise under Cignetti.

Massive get for the Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers. Marsh is the No. 3 WR in ESPN's transfer portal rankings: https://t.co/FIWMFOeR26 pic.twitter.com/lItMIkpnl7
“Indiana has landed a commitment from Michigan State transfer WR Nick Marsh,” Olson wrote. “Massive get for Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers. Marsh is the No. 3 WR in ESPN’s transfer portal rankings.”
Marsh is one of the most coveted players available from a Big Ten rival and gives Indiana a proven playmaker as it builds toward the 2026 season.
The timing of the commitment being just days before a CFP semifinal shows the momentum surrounding the program. It also proves that Indiana’s surge may be far from a one-year story.
