Fernando Mendoza doesn't swear.
It's one of those charming traits of the Indiana Hoosiers QB, who has many such characteristics.
Apparently, winning the national championship allows an exception to that rule.
Because on national TV, while being interviewed moments after climbing to the top of the college football mountaintop, Mendoza went for it.
"Let's f---ing go!"

This is the same guy who went viral earlier this season for saying "flipping" instead of a different F-word as part of a celebratory interview.
Mendoza is as well spoken as they come. Head coach Curt Cignetti said in the lead up to the national title game that every interview with Mendoza is an "A-plus interview."
He makes a true effort to give each reporter the kind of answer that will help them do their job.
In this moment, though, Mendoza was letting out all the emotion of a program that had never had a feat like this before.
The Hoosiers are national champs.
Mendoza's words ring loud and true.
