For the third straight time, the Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Texas Longhorns, 35-10.

The Longhorns had cut the lead to four in the second half before the Dawgs went on a run to close them out. Afterwards, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart took a shot at the Longhorns because of their use of NIL.

“A lot of these kids, nowadays, they want a check. They don’t want physicality. If you have the check and no physicality, you end up with nothing. We’re not just getting checks at our place. We’re hitting people."

That was an obvious slight at the Longhorns, who have spent millions in NIL money, only to not only miss the SEC Championship Game but most likely the College Football playoff this year.

Many thought Texas was a shoo-in for the playoffs because of Arch Manning, but Manning and Texas's slow start may cost them a shot at the title this season.

Meanwhile, Georgia will make the College Football Playoff and possibly the SEC Championship Game if either Texas A&M or Alabama loses that final regular-season game.

Georgia has paid their share in NIL money too; however, it has paid off for them with making the College Football Playoffs again and winning the SEC last year, the same can't be said for the Longhorns.
