The Colorado Buffaloes needed a serious spark down 45-7 in the 3rd quarter to Arizona. After cycling through two quarterbacks, Deion Sanders landed on freshman phenom Julian Lewis.
The former five-star recruit got his first real action on a drive with ten minutes left in the third quarter. Needless to say, he made the most of it. Lewis connected with Omarion Miller for a 59-yard strike. The first touchdown pass in the dual-threat QB's career.
Lewis, a product of Carrollton, Georgia, was one of the best passer in the 2026 class. However, he had the opportunity and reclassified to this year and is already turning heads.

Colorado snagged Lewis as the heir apparent to Shedeur Sanders, except he was going to wait until his time came behind liberty transfer Kaidon Salter. Given how the season has gone for Coach Prime and the Buffs, that time may be now.
