Nothing Shedeur Sanders did playing for his father, Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders, makes Pittsburgh Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw a believer in his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns.

Bradshaw asked why a fifth-rounder is getting the attention the “Grown QB” has been getting and ended his rant by saying, “Let somebody else have that problem.”

As USA Today’s Eric Larsen put it, Bradshaw was “chafing” at Sanders’ hype. Bradshaw’s rhetorical questions to the interviewer showed an aggressive urge to shut down any serious talk of Shedeur being regarded as an NFL quarterback even worth talking about.

Bradshaw, as Larsen noted, believes it’s not just Shedeur, but his father, Coach Prime, who’d make having him a massive headache. He also made it personal by mentioning Shedeur’s speeding tickets from this past summer.

“In his critique, Bradshaw mentioned the two speeding tickets that Sanders was cited for in June, and that Cleveland's front office would have to ‘deal with his dad and everything else’ that comes with the Sanders family's fame and profile,” Larsen wrote.

For what it’s worth, Shedeur has been an exemplary teammate in Berea. He recently talked up playing on the scout team, which may be the most notable sound bite ever provided on an NFL team’s scout team.

Sanders had a rough reputation at CU with certain teammates, but by and large, most have nothing but positive things to say about his character.

Bradshaw clearly doesn’t have any intentions of being included in that “most” category.
