Deion Sanders sends four-word message to his son over trust fund image

Shilo Sanders has fallen on hard times. The 25-year-old son of Deion Sanders was recently cut after a preseason stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, putting his NFL future in jeopardy. Despite no real opportunities coming about, the former Colorado Buffaloes safety has a plan to security funding.

During one of his latest YouTube videos, Sanders explained his situation while doing a appearance at Gatorland outside of Orlando, Florida with influencer Danny Duncan. He was looking at protective gear to put on and mentioned, "I just got cut from the NFL. So i'm not trying to spend that much." Sanders went on to say, "I'm still waiting on my trust fund from my dad."

As it turns out, Coach Prime had words of encouragement for his middle son and his financial state. However, it's likely not what Shilo wanted to hear. "What did I tell you about your trust fund?" he asked. "I never trusted you and we never had fun. I hate to tell you son, but I had to do it though."

Being passed off as a joke or not, Shilo Sanders faces an unknown future currently tied up in an $11.8 million default judgement, which he's trying to wipe clean in bankruptcy court. Needless to say, any assistance from his father would be a game-changer at this point. Especially since the outlook with Shilo's NFL prospects is not so hot. He reportedly had an interview with the San Francisco 49ers last week, but nothing has come from it.

For now, Shilo will turn his attention toward using his other talents. With nearly 220k subscribers on YouTube, he's already ahead of the game for being an influencer. Not to discredit his musical talents as well. Either way, he'll land on his feet somewhere he can thrive.
