Shedeur Sanders is doing his best to keep his mind and soul in the right place.
He learned officially this week that he'll be the Cleveland Browns' QB3 to start the regular season. Both Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel are ahead of the former Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback.
But early Friday morning on social media, Sanders shared a message about keeping the faith.
"GOD doesn’t make mistakes. When you realize that everything happens for a reason, you’ll find peace in your situation," Sanders wrote on X.

Some credit does have to be given to Sanders through this whole process.
His NFL Draft slide to the fifth round had to have been brutal. He's got a lot of scrutiny on him, and he came to Cleveland to take part in a four-quarterback competition, which is highly unusual.
Through it all, he has said the right things. He's owned when he hasn't been good enough. He's acknowledged he's got a long way to go.
That isn't a guarantee that Sanders will make it. But it can't hurt.

This is a guy who was projected by most to be a first-round pick. He completed 74% of his passes in his final college season. In his preseason opener, he looked sharp, although that was later negated by a rough preseason finale.
Sanders can watch and learn from the 40-year old Flacco this season. He can bounce ideas off his fellow rookie Gabriel, too.
There are chances for Sanders to grow even if he isn't on the field right now.
Eventually, he may get the chance to show what patience and peace through this bumpy road might get him in the end.
