Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are looking to add another Big 12 win against West Virginia on Saturday.

After two blowout losses, Coach Prime had made changes, including demoting offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and revoking media access to his players and assistant coaches.

Despite the unwanted criticism for the Buffs head coach, he's still fully supported by CU athletic director Rick George. In a comment on X Friday night, he said "I support Coach Prime 100%."

Colorado sits at 3-6 on the season and needs to win out for a shot at the postseason. But Sanders is locking down to make that happen in Boulder.

“I’ve been on winning teams, losing teams, and I know how to handle the nonsense," Sanders said about the media ban this week. Everybody’s not built that way. It could really affect and infect the coaches and the young men and they may not recover from it.”

The Buffaloes have lost by a combined 105-24 point total in the past two games against Utah and Arizona. They're also the worst losses during Sanders' tenure at Colorado.

“Now that you’re receiving finances from NIL, the reporters don’t care anymore,” Sanders added. “They’re attacking you, as well as the coaching staff. And I don’t want them to go through that. I’d rather them attack me. It’s on me.”

Colorado visits West Virginia on Saturday (Noon ET, TNT).
