The Colorado Buffaloes dropped to 3–8 on Saturday, and Deion Sanders made it clear he knows the program isn’t close to where it needs to be.
When asked what he plans to change, Sanders kept it tight, saying there’s no single fix. “It’s multiple things that need to change—and they will,” he said. “We could throw stones at everybody, but I always say you start with me.”
Sanders admitted it hurt to watch Colorado’s seniors finish their last home game with a loss, and he took the blame for not getting them a better sendoff. His message was simple: the problems are big, the changes will be bigger, and the process has already started behind the scenes.
Colorado finishes its season next week at Kansas State, then Sanders gets to work on rebuilding. At 16–20 with the Buffs, he’s owning the setbacks and promising a better version of Colorado football ahead.
