Bowl games revealed for Clemson, Pitt, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Duke image

The ACC nearly was shut out of the College Football Playoff, although in the end, Miami got in.

They've got plenty of bowl game representatives, too, including Clemson, Pitt, Georgia Tech, Virginia and Duke.

Here are the details on those five teams and what's next.

What is Clemson's bowl game?

Clemson is playing in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl.

This year, it could be called the underachievers bowl.

It's Penn State against Clemson at Yankee Stadium on Dec. 27 -- talk about a marquee matchup and stage.

What is Pitt's bowl game?

The Pittsburgh Panthers will play in the Go Bowling Military Bowl.

That's on Dec. 27, and it'll be against East Carolina.

What is Georgia Tech's bowl game?

Georgia Tech is playing on that same day, Dec. 27.

They get the exciting Pop-Tarts Bowl.

And it'll be against another top-25 team, BYU.

What is Virginia's bowl game?

Virginia plays its bowl game on Dec. 27, too.

The Cavaliers will be in the Taxslayer Gator Bowl.

They'll take on Missouri in that game.

What is Duke's bowl game?

Duke is taking part in the Tony The Tiger Sun Bowl.

That game will be on Dec. 31, New Year's Eve.

The Blue Devils will play the Sun Devils of Arizona State.
