The University of Connecticut men's basketball team is just getting its season rolling this week.
Two of their promising youngsters aren't yet on the floor.
The Huskies announced that neither Jacob Furphy nor Braylon Mullins will play on Friday night against UMass Lowell.
That shouldn't have any impact on the outcome in a game the Huskies are heavily favored in. It's just a bit of a bummer.

Braylon Mullins sidelined tonight?
Braylon Mullins is out on Friday night due to injury.
He's listed as out with an ankle injury in the official UConn announcement.
Jacob Furphy absent tonight?
Jacob Furphy is out on Friday night as well with an injury.
He too is listed as having an ankle issue.
The Huskies are next in action on Monday at home against Columbia.
Their first big game is a week from Saturday, when they take on top freshman AJ Dybantsa and BYU on Nov. 15.
