The college basketball season is almost here, which means teams start their preseason exhibition matches.

UConn basketball kicks off its season with an exhibition game against Boston College. It's the first action for all the teams involved and will take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

While it's technically not a home game for UConn, it still takes place in its home state. These games are part of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame exhibition.

UConn women's basketball is coming off a national championship last year, but. Paige Bueckers left the program for the WNBA. The men's side failed to secure the three-peat and lost in the second round to the eventual champion Florida Gators.

Meanwhile, both Boston College programs finished last season with a below .500 record.

The Sporting News has all the details on how to watch UConn vs. Boston College basketball.
