The start of the 2023-24 college basketball season marks the return of one of the biggest stars in the sport.

Paige Bueckers will once again take the floor for UConn after missing the entire 2022-23 season with a torn ACL in her left knee. The former Naismith Award winner has gone through a long rehab process, and now she is ready to show the world that she is still a game-changer.

"I want to prove that I'm all right. I want to prove that I'm back. I want to prove that I'm a better player now," Bueckers told The Athletic's Dana O'Neil. "I'm trying to do too much in too little time, where I need to relax and let the game come to me. Things are going to happen when they're supposed to, and there's a time for everything, but it's hard.

"I just want it all so bad."

Expectations will be sky-high for Bueckers and the Huskies, as they enter the new campaign ranked No. 2 in the AP women's college basketball poll. Let's see if Geno Auriemma's team can climb back up to the top of the mountain.
