BYU trailed by 21 points at the half on Tuesday night to Clemson.

That's when AJ Dybantsa took over.

The highly touted freshman was the best player in the building in the second half at Madison Square Garden, leading the Cougars to a crazy come-from-behind win.

Dybantsa had six points in the first half. After the intermission, he had 22.

For the game, he added nine rebounds and six assists. Those were both college career-highs for Dybantsa, as were his 28 points.

The final two assists for Dybantsa were both perfectly placed for alley-oop dunks.

He got to watch as his teammate Robert Wright III drilled a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, too.

All of this brilliant night also added up to history for Dybantsa.

He's the first player to have a 28-9-6 line in a college basketball game without committing a single foul since Stephen Curry did it for Davidson, according to OptaStats.

Some might make a case that Dybantsa should be picking up a few fouls, involving himself more at the defensive end.

But for the sake of this stat, just wow.

It's not often a player can replicate something Curry did.

In this case, that's exactly what Dybantsa did, and it was in an impressively heroic victory, too.
