A long, surprisingly winding basketball journey needs its next destination.
Duke great Jabari Parker spent the past two seasons playing in Spain for EuroLeague powerhouse Barcelona. But according to TalkBasket, Parker is leaving Barcelona. It was a mutual agreement to part ways.
Parker’s contract was meant to run through the end of the 2026 season, but they terminated it a year early.
Parker was a solid contributor for Barcelona, averaging 13.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 27 minutes per game. He shot 55% on 2-pointers and 38% on 3-pointers.
Barcelona reached the EuroLeague quarterfinals before falling to Monaco.
TalkBasket reports that multiple other EuroLeague clubs are now interested in Parker.

Parker was once a freshman phenom at Duke. He went No. 2 in the NBA Draft to the Milwaukee Bucks, and from the moment he stepped into the league, he was a bucket.
Knee injuries sadly sapped Parker of much of his athleticism, which lowered his ceiling and eventually led to his departure from the NBA.
Amazingly, Parker is still just 30 years old. He could still have a lot of years of basketball left in him if he wants to keep playing.
But man, it feels like a heck of a long time ago that Parker was detonating on rims for the Blue Devils and then the Bucks.
