Duke 5-star commit hits buzzer-beating game-winner in high school final four image

Duke's Final Four fun started a day early.

At the high school national semifinals, a future Blue Devils star pulled out some magic.

Cayden Boozer, a 5-star commit and son of Duke and NBA great Carlos Boozer, drilled a fadeaway jumper at the buzzer to win the semis at Geico Nationals and advance to the high school national championship game.

Cayden's Columbus (FL) High School topped Brewster Academy, 47-45.

The talented wing crossed over left-to-right before pulling up at the top of the key just inside the arc for a high-arcing, tough game-winner.

Cayden teams with the slightly more heralded Cameron Boozer on the powerhouse Columbus squad. Cameron was national high school player of the year for a second time, with Cooper Flagg's 2024 win of that award in between.

The Boozer twins will both play for Jon Scheyer next year.

First, the current and future Blue Devils both have a national championship to win.
