The Toronto Raptors didn't keep Mo Bamba around for long.
Except, well, they might not be done with the 7-footer yet, either.
The Raptors waived Bamba, but that was probably by design.

Why did Raptors waive Mo Bamba?
They had to get rid of Bamba before Wednesday's de facto deadline for salaries becoming guaranteed.
They save some money with this move:
All total for Mo Bamba's 11 days with the Raptors (nine on the roster plus two on waivers), Toronto increased the amount they are over the tax by about $195K.

Toronto is now just over $967K above the luxury tax line. They'll shed salary by the deadline to not be taxpayers.
The Raptors can then work the system forward by bringing Bamba back on a pair of 10-day deals, Smith added in a follow up tweet.
Bamba played just six total minutes across three games in this quick stint with the Raptors. That included a pair of rebounds and a single block as his only recorded stats.
Toronto might bring him back, but even then, Bamba won't be a major contributor, even with Jakob Poeltl hurt.
