Spurs' Victor Wembanyama has officially grown again and is almost the tallest player in NBA history image

Victor Wembanyama already towered above his competition.

Now, the official numbers say the San Antonio Spurs' star towers even just a bit more.

Wemby was listed at 7-foot-3 last season. But on the Spurs' roster for the 2025-26 campaign, he's been granted some more inches.

How tall is Victor Wembanyama?

Victor Wembanyama is now listed at 7-foot-5 on the Spurs' roster for the upcoming campaign.

That's an increase of two inches from his listed height last season.

Just as important as Wemby's listed height, of course, is the fact that he's on the court at all. His last season ended prematurely due to a concerning blood clot issue. There was uncertainty about when he'd get back to basketball.

But now, Wembanyama is back to basketball, and he's ready to continue his ascendance to the top of the sport.

Tallest players in NBA history

Victor Wembanyama isn't quite the tallest player in NBA history.

Here's how that list breaks down:

  • Gheorghe Muresan: 7-7
  • Manute Bol: 7-7
  • Tacko Fall: 7-6
  • Yao Ming: 7-6
  • Shawn Bradley: 7-6
  • Victor Wembanyama: 7-5
  • Chuck Nevitt: 7-5
  • Pavel Podkolzin: 7-5
  • Slavnko Vranes: 7-5
  • Sim Bhullar 7-5

For those keeping score at home, Wemby is in a tie for the third-tallest height in league history, and tied as the sixth-tallest player in league history.

And hey, he might just still be growing.
