The San Antonio Spurs have had a great season thus far, currently sitting second place in the Western Conference with a 30-14 record.
Although they blew a large fourth quarter lead Tuesday against the Houston Rockets, they remain on the right track having won three of their last four games.
Along with the progression of young stars Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper, San Antonio has seen a breakout season from Julian Champagnie.
That said, it's never bad to add reinforcements. Wednesday, San Antonio's G-League affiliate, the Austin Spurs claimed former top-10 pick Cam Reddish.
Reddish began the season in Lithuania, but mutually agreed to part ways with his team in December due to personal reasons.
Now, the former Duke star is back in the G-League looking for another shot.
Although he averaged over 10 points in each of his first three seasons between the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks, Reddish struggled to find footing after that, spending time with the Portland Trail Blazers and the last two seasons with the Lakers.
Last season, he averaged just 3.2 points and 2 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per game.
Despite his talent as a one-on-one scorer, Reddish has always been criticized for his defense and his ability to play in an offensive system.
He'll have to sharpen those skills with San Antonio in order to get a call-up, as the Spurs' rotation is already loaded with talent.
