One thing has never been in doubt about Russell Westbrook: He's going to put up numbers.
In the process, Russ continues to move up all sorts of NBA all-time leaderboards.
On Sunday, Westbrook gained a spot among the top scorers in league history. He now ranks 16th all-time in points scored.
He passed Dominique Wilkins, and he's closing in on Oscar Robertson.
Here's a look at the whole chart, via the NBA:

If Russ stays healthy, he can gain a few more spots on that list this season.
He's never been thought of specifically as a scorer. His triple-double prowess was his most notable trait.
But clearly, part of that stat stuffing has always included putting the ball in the basket. Even when people doubt Westbrook as a shooter or because of his age, he finds a way to keep putting stats on the sheet.
His NBA career is certainly on the tail end. But as long as Westbrook is playing, he's going to have the chance to continue passing some all-time greats on some impressive leaderboards.
