The Phoenix Suns enter Monday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves looking to gain ground in the Western Conference standings. Phoenix enters the matchup at 13-10, trailing Minnesota by two games for the sixth seed in the conference.

Last time these two teams met, the Phoenix Suns pulled off an improbable comeback, rallying from down nine in the final 50 seconds to win.

Throughout the game, Dillon Brooks exchanged trash talk with Minnesota stars Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle.

Ahead of tonight's game, Brooks has been upgraded to questionable, with left Achilles soreness after scoring 23 points in the Suns' last matchup against the Rockets. Brooks has taken a leap offensively early on this season, averaging a career high 22.3 points per game.

They'll certainly need his scoring on Monday, as Devin Booker remains out due to a right groin strain. Along with Brooks, the Suns are sure to rely on the duo of Collin Gillespie and Grayson Allen for both scoring and shooting. Mark Williams may also see more opportunities inside amidst injuries.

Isaiah Livers has also been ruled out of Monday's game for Phoenix due to a hip injury.

As for Minnesota, Anthony Edwards has been downgraded to questionable for tonight's game with an illness. Guard Terrence Shannon Jr. Is also questionable for the same reason.

After Monday night's game in Minnesota, the Suns will travel to Oklahoma City to face the Thunder in the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup on Wednesday night.
