Report: Suns staying hesitant at trade deadline while finding success image

There was a lot of uncertainty in the air for the Phoenix Suns after the team decided to move on from Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal this offseason.

So far, just over halfway through the regular season, the Suns have found some momentum.

This has left Phoenix with some curiosity at the NBA trade deadline, but the answers have been provided.

Suns not expected to make a move at trade deadline

According to reports, Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic says that the Phoenix Suns won't be making moves at the trade deadline unless there's an offer by a team that is irresistible.

Phoenix started the season with some growing pains, going 5-5 through the first 10 games of the season. Since then, things have been clicking, and the Suns have gone 21-12 since.

First-year Sun Dillon Brooks has been a surprise so far this season while being on pace for the best scoring season (20.9 PPG) of his nine-year career.

Mark Williams has become a beneficial addition this season as well, averaging 12.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and making his presence known in the paint with 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals a game.

Grayson Allen, Collin Gillespie, and Royce O'Neale have also clicked well in the rotation.

This success has come while the Suns haven't had Jalen Green for all but two games this season. His talents are capable of providing 20 points a night as well.

With a frustrating season so far while dealing with a lingering hamstring strain. He's expected to return for the Suns on Tuesday as they go up against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Phoenix will be an exciting team to watch in the second half of the regular season.
