Kevin Durant's trade history: NBA legend traded more in last 6 years than he has won playoff series image

Kevin Durant's name has come up a lot in June the past five or six years.

Except, not because of deep playoff runs.

Nope, KD just has found himself in trade rumors again and again.

And since the end of his Warriors tenure, Durant has actually been traded more times (3) than he has won playoff series (2).

From the Warriors to the Nets to the Suns to the Rockets in the latest deal completed on Sunday.

This doesn't inherently blame Durant for anything, but it's not a great look.

Somehow, none of it has worked.

The Nets tried to form a big three, but Kyrie Irving's quirks and an unfortunately placed foot that made a 3 into a 2 were too much to overcome in Brooklyn.

The Suns tried to form a big three, but the immediate and massive Bradley Beal decline pretty much cooked that before it got off the ground.

Welcome to the newest big three: Durant, Amen Thompson and Alperen Sengun. The Rockets are actually quite deep still, with a starting lineup also including Fred VanVleet and Jabari Smith Jr. and multiple young talents off the bench like Reed Shepherd and Cam Whitmore.

Durant will be 37 in September. There can't be many trades left.

Maybe he can flip this stat on its head and get a few more playoff series won before he retires.
