Dillon Brooks gets the last laugh as the Suns dominate the Lakers image

The Phoenix Suns entered Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers with a chip on their shoulder.

The last matchup between these two teams saw tempers flare between Lakers forward LeBron James and Suns forward Dillon Brooks.

Although Brooks has never made an all-star game, he never backs down against any opponent, no matter their accolades.

After scoring 33 against the Lakers earlier this month, Brooks stepped up once more as the Suns got the last laugh in a blow out victory.

It was an all-around team performance from Phoenix as they ended with six players in double-figures including all five starters. Brooks led the team in scoring, posting 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting. Devin Booker had a double-double, scoring 21 points to go along with 11 assists.

Phoenix did the majority of their damage in the paint, outscoring the Lakers 62-46 in that category en route to a 24-point victory.

When asked how much he was looking forward to the matchup, Brooks had this to say: "A lot. We want to get up in the series-----we always want to take care of our division." Brooks concluded by saying: "We'll see them in March."

With the victory, Phoenix moves to 2-1 against the Lakers with two games left to play. That said, ironically the Suns and Lakers don't play against one another in March.

Phoenix will face Los Angeles once near the end of February and will meet for the final time in April.
